I’m a fairly easy going person but whilst here in Ecuador some people have really started pissin me off so now I’m gonna get back at them. If your already aware of my saga with the language school and how the feckers have been threatening us with the police and lawyers and shit you’ll know we pretty much thought the whole thing had ended. But yesterday we got an email from them threatening us again, this time saying they were gonna sue Marianne in Germany. Well, no one threatens my woman so I decided to take the manly route to revenge and start an online campaign to publicise what ass-holes these guys are. I bought a domain name AtahualpaSpanishSchool.com (they own atahualpa.com + .info) and I’m gonna make sure every fecker searching for language schools in quito knows about them. To that end I would appreciate if anyone could link tasty keywords like “Learn Spanish Quito” or “Cheap Spanish Lessons Quito” or “SprachKurs Spanisch Quito” to the above site.

I haven’t finished the site yet but I’ve did enough so I could email them with the link and let them know what I think of their deadline. Any ideas for my campaign would welcome.

Sounds like you should get your passports and get outa there, Ecuador sounds like a hole, even worse than Dunclug.

Get the bus, train or donkey express to Peru, see matchu petcu (can’t spell) have an actual holiday then come home

Didn’t Bruce Banner end up in Ecuador at the end of The Incredible Hulk film? Why not hire him to ‘hulk smash’ the school to rubble? Or failing that, get really really angry and do it yourself? Seriously though, it sound like they’re talking out of their arse; if they were going to take action over it, they would have done more by now than just send scary emails to you. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Although a good web slating is not a bad start to showing them not to feck with you.

Where exactly are they going to take you to court?
Germany? Quito? If you tried to sue them imagine the difficulties, its the same the other way round.

Hiring a German layer to work on your behalf would be mighty expensive.

For the amount of money ( a grand each) it would be laughed out of a small claims court, no laywer would take it up.
